About Frangipani Natural Farms
Our farm practices integrated organic farming concept using a close loop system where we utilize resources available on our farm and reduce outside resources. Every morning, we will collect food waste from restaurants and wet markets to use as feed for black soldier fly farming. We also rear chickens, ducks, goats and fishes. Aside from this is that we also plant paddy using the System of Rice Intensification or in short, SRI. This system conceptualizes on the idea of “less is more” which benefits the farmers. In addition, we also promote constructed wetland design which treat waste water that can be applicable to many areas. We hold classes every month for whoever is interested in what we practise at our farm. This is to increase awareness to sustainable farming lifestyle in which we believe will make a better future for our community as well as environment.
